Gordon Ramsey’s Ultimate Cookery course
I’ve been struggling to keep up with my monthly cook book tips as I simply haven’t bought a single book since I came to Australia (I just don’t have the space to bring it back home) but since I now use ebooks I have been looking into buying books that way until we go back home. And the first one that I bought is Gordon Ramsey’s ultimate cookery course (as there is a limited Kindle deal on it at the moment).
For some reason I don’t actually have any Gordon Ramsey books at home, even though I did watch quite a lot of his TV shows in the past. I do think he’s a brilliant chef though so I have no doubt this book is going to be the start of a Gordon Ramsey book collection.
The book is ideal for those wanting to lean about cooking without the use of fancy pancy equipment or super complicated recipes. The book will first take you through a few classics with a twist, like tomato risotto, beef wellingtons, apple crumble and stuffed roast chicken. Other chapters include fish, meat, spices, good food for less, cooking in advance, cooking for one or two, cooking for crowds, baking and basic skills

About the author
Scottish by birth, Gordon Ramsay was brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, and initially aspired to be a professional footballer. However, when an injury prematurely put an end to any hopes of a promising career on the pitch, Ramsay went back to college to complete a course in hotel management. His dedication and natural talent led him to train with some of the world’s leading chefs.
Now internationally renowned and holding seven Michelin stars, Ramsay has opened 34 restaurants globally including Europe, America, Asia and the Middle East. Ramsay has also become a star of the small screen in the US and UK, and earned himself an EMMY nomination in 2017.
Ramsay has released a number of books, many of which have become bestsellers around the world; his latest cookbook is Quick and Delicious.
A keen triathlete, Gordon lives with his wife Tana and five children, Megan, twins Jack & Holly, Tilly and newest member of the family, Oscar. He divides his time between London, Los Angeles and Cornwall.
