Large Wildflower Vase from Brookwood Pottery

Large Wildflower Vase from Brookwood Pottery
A handthrown white porcelain stoneware vase that comes in large (22 cms high) or regular (15 cms high). This vase can hold your favourite flowers or doubles as a beautiful utensil holder for your kitchen. I use real flower seed heads to create this pretty, summery pattern and each ‘helix’ of flowers is done by hand so no two vases are ever the same. this is one of my favourite patterns, it reminds me of summer and the garden in full bloom!

  • Handthrown white earthenware vase with handprinted floral motif from real flower seed heads.
  • 19cms high x 8.5cm diameter approx.
  • The Wildflower pattern is made to order, please allow 2/3 weeks making and delivery time.

About Brookwood Pottery
Brookwood Pottery was set up in 2012 by Elaine Fallon, a ceramicist who trained with the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. Elaine produces small batches of handthrown work including bowls, mugs and other tableware onto which she paints and draws her original designs.
After a life changing crowd funding campaign in the summer of 2017 Elaine has created an open access pottery studio and design shop . She now welcomes pottery enthusiasts to join the studio where she also sells her full range of ceramics and an eclectic mix of her favourite Irish makers.
Elaine has worked together with Marz and Karen (Maka Ceramics) and the founders of the Chocolate Factory, Val Rutledge and John Fitzpatrick to realise this dream . John and Val are the duo behind Santry Central, the new creative space where Brookwood Pottery is housed. Karen Cody and Marz Lawler are the main technicians for Brookwood Pottery and produce their own brand of ceramics also.
