Italian Appetiser with Mozzarella, Salami, Semi-Dried Tomatoes, and Basil
super easy

Italian food is great in general, but is also a really big source of inspiration for me when it comes to appetisers. These Italian appetisers with mozzarella, salami, semi-dried tomatoes, and basil are so easy to make but full of flavour. Make sure to go for high-quality ingredients though. The mozzarella and basil can’t really go wrong but the salami and tomatoes are a different story. A lot of the cheaper jars of semi-dried tomatoes have a horrible tasting oil in it. I got mine in Dunnes Stores (found it in a fridge where they also have hummus, pesto, olives, ..). The salami (with peppercorn crust) comes from James Whelan Butchers and it’s my favourite salami to use on some homemade pizza as well.
